Dr. Chinwe Madubuike is an international affairs professional with over ten years experience in managing projects in public health, media and communications, and economic development. She draws on a unique skills-set to achieve results and provide solutions in even the most challenging environments.
These solutions include developing strategic plans to secure funding from the Asian Development Bank, the German Technical Agency (GTZ) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to help rebuild Karte Seh Hospital and implement a range of programs in Afghanistan.
Other solutions include providing technical advice on several USAID-supported projects as well as projects supported by the Ford Foundation, the Gates Foundation, and the World Bank. As a media and communications specialist, she co-produced a political news magazine program for the BBC which was aired on nearly 50 radio stations in Nigeria, and across BBC Africa.
She has also provided technical advice for radio and television programs relating to development for the BBC. More recently, she provided communications assistance to agriculture and food security projects supported by USAID.
Dr. Madubuike obtained her doctorate from the London School of Economics where she specialized in international development and gender. She served as a World Health Organization Fellow at the University of Maastricht where she obtained a Masters degree in Public Health. She also attended Michigan State University where she earned a BSc in Public Policy.
Dr. Madubuike has delivered lectures at universities including the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the London Business School, and the University of Westminster. She has worked in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States
