American-Style Business Boot Camp Puts Nigerian Small Business Owners on the Fast Track

New York, NY (BlackNews.com) - The Bank of Industry Limited (BOI), in collaboration with Rimsom Associates, held a two-day Entrepreneurial Seminar in Nigeria on how to build businesses with Andrew Morrison of the Small Business Camp.

The Secrets to Business Success seminar series was a two-day small business boot camp that offered entrepreneurs practical concepts that can build any business in 90 days. The series ran through the Nigerian states of Gombe, Bauchi, Osun, and Ondo from Monday, February 19th until Thursday, March 1, 2007.

Participants learnt proven strategies that could help them turn their passion into a profitable business. Finance, Sales, Operations, Advertising, Team Building, and Capacity Formation were just a few topics that were covered. Each participant worked directly with Mr. Morrison to develop a business plan and sample marketing materials.

In addition, the seminar also featured senior officials from US Small Business Administration, US Department of Commerce and International Micro-Finance Institutions who trained local lenders on how to work with small business entrepreneurs. Wednesday, February 21 and Thursday, February, 22, 2007 - Gombe State

Monday, February 26 and Tuesday, February 27, 2007 - Osun State

Wednesday, February 28 and Thursday, March 1, 2007 - Ondo State
